Spring in close

Today while the other kids were sleeping I took Max out for a ride on his bike.  He had so much fun.  Not to mention we saw fire trucks!

Myles Andrew

Myles Andrew Yenchko arrived on 03/05/10 at 12:28 pm.  He was 7lbs 14 1/2 ozs and 20 inches long.  The delivery was smooth and quick.  However, Kate experienced hemorrhaging afterwards.  She ended up losing over 2 liters of blood and a blood pressure around 73/32.  It was the scariest thing I have been through.  Thankfully the Dr's were quick, efficient and worked together to get her to surgery and taken care of.  God placed each Dr where they needed to be and I can't praise Him enough.  Thank you to all those who prayed, called and assisted us in the hectic time.  Kate and Myles are both doing well now and we are adjusting to home life with 3 kids under 2 1/2.

Car Seat Extravaganza

In order to get all the car seats to fit in the VB we had to specially order some narrow seats. They fit!   The van was obviously a lot easier at getting all the seats in.  Now it just looks weird with Charley and Max in the way back of the van.  Heres a pic of the VW with no room to spare.

Art Project

I took Max to family fun night at church.  We had a lesson on how God can turn you into something beautiful, such as a caterpillar into a butterfly.  So we colored pictures and them made our own butterfly.  It was fun to watch Max be artistic and enjoy some time with him.

Lunch Time

Sammy K and Tug came over to play the other day.  We had a great time and a great lunch

New Train, Maybe New Name?

Max bought a new Thomas the train and could not wait to show everyone.  Also, as of late, a new baby name has slipped into the running for the newbie on the way.  Oliver vs Myles has become the hottest debate in the Yenchko house.  Max has recently become quite the activist for one name in particular.    However, right before I was about to post this... Max decided to switch his choice.

Cookie Monster

Max recently found Sesame Street.

Snow Day

A little while ago Kate was doing some house cleaning while I was at work.  She heard the kids laughing and playing.  She thought how cute it was that the kids were playing so well together.  She heard Max say, "Mom, we are playing in the snow".  She walks around the corner and see a cloud of dust.  As she enters the kitchen she sees powder sugar covering the entire kitchen and the kids from head to toe.  Needless to say, it took a while to clean up.
